Are you ready for some HOT summer cycling? Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 22, 2019, and set your sights on Brownwood, Texas! The Heart of Texas Cyclists will host a bike ride event to benefit the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center.
Our rides begin and end at Festival Park in Brownwood Texas near the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center. Stick around after the rides for hamburgers, hot dogs, and entertainment at Festival park! Enjoy the event and feel free to check out additional entertainment, dinning, and museums in Brownwood and Early.
There will be four routes. The route lengths are 8 miles, 25 miles, 40 miles, and 63 miles. The routes will feature some rolling hills and beautiful countryside as you pass through central Brown county. The 63 mile route will have a significant hill climb near Brooksmith, TX.
Entry fee will be $35 before June 1st, after that date you will have to register at the event for $45. Online registration is available through BikeReg until June 15th. T-shirts included with your online registration.
Entry fee for participants 16 years and younger is $15 and must register at the event.
Entry fee for parents or guardians riding the 8 mile route with your child will also be $15 and must register at the event.
There are a number of hotels in Brownwood and beautiful camping facilities at Lake Brownwood
